In May, 1998, David Parker left a successful history of high-tech ventures to found Brentwood Wine Company. In 2002, he founded Benchmark Wine Group and acquired The Wine Market Journal. An avid wine collector, David has been involved in the wine industry since 1987 when he bought his commercial vineyard in Geyserville, California. He also owned a vineyard in the Eola Hills of Oregon and is a partner in Parker Family Vineyards, Inc. He lives in West Linn, OR with his wife Sandy Sturrus Parker and four children.

With a unique blend of talents and skills and wine and high-tech industry contacts, David has succeeded in bridging the gap between high-quality wine producers and well-informed fine wine collectors and connoisseurs.
